"Had a really good time at..."
Had a really good time at New York Comedy Club. Getting in was easy, the drinks were decent, and the comedians were actually funny — like, actually funny. It’s a smaller spot, but the vibe was great and it made the whole night feel more relaxed. I’d definitely go back with friends, definitely

"Easy check-in at the door"
I went to New York Comedy Club last weekend, getting in was way easier than I expected. Sometimes the door situation at places like this can be a whole thing, but this was painless.
The guy at the front checked our tickets quickly, glanced at our IDs, and told us where to wait. No attitude, no confusion, no weird power trip, always a nice surprise.
The line moved faster than it looked like it would, and we were inside within a few minutes. Super simple check-in, no hassle, and a solid start to the night.

"Lineup Just Didn’t Really Hit for Me"
I went in hoping for a fun night, but to be fair, comedy can be hit or miss depending on the lineup. A few jokes definitely got laughs, but a lot of the sets felt awkward or went on longer than they needed to. The venue itself was fine and the staff seemed nice, but the comedians just didn’t really do it for me. I’d probably check out a different spot next time.

"The show was decent, but the drinks were a letdown"
I thought the show itself was perfectly fine and I had a decent enough time overall, but the drinks were disappointing. They tasted really watered down, almost like there was barely anything in them, and the flavor just came across kind of cheap. For what they were charging, I definitely expected something a lot better and more worth the price. If I went back again, I’d probably just get one drink to have something in my hand and then stop there.

"Actually clean bathrooms"
I’ll give them credit where it’s due, the bathrooms were actually clean when I went. Everything was stocked, and it didn’t have that gross, overused feel you get at a lot of busy places. Not something I expected to notice, but it made the night a little easier. No complaints from me.

"Lineup was a little hit or miss for me"
I went here last weekend and had a decent time overall. The club itself was totally fine, and maybe I just caught an off night or wasn’t in the right mood, but the lineup felt kind of mixed to me. A couple of the comics were really funny, then a few others just didn’t land for me personally.
I kept wondering if I was being too picky, but I did wish there was a bit more variety in the styles instead of a lot of the same kind of jokes. It wasn’t a bad night by any means, just more of a 3-star experience for me.

"Really nice staff there"
The staff were super friendly and easygoing, which made getting in and seated feel simple, honestly. Everyone working there had a nice vibe, and relaxed it all felt in a good way.

"Really clean spot, no complaints"
I went to New York Comedy Club last weekend and was just happy with how clean everything was. The tables weren’t sticky, the bathrooms were kept up, and the whole place just felt well taken care of even with a good crowd there. It’s a small thing, but it really does make the night better.

"Fun night, but I wish we hadn’t waited so long"
The show itself was really good and we did end up having a fun night, but I kind of regret not factoring in how long the wait would be. It dragged on enough that it took some of the excitement out of the evening. Glad we went, but I wish the whole experience had been smoother...

"Two Drink Minimum Made It Feel Overpriced"
The show itself was decent, and a couple of the comics genuinely got some good laughs out of me. But the two drink minimum really took away from the experience. Tickets weren’t exactly cheap to begin with, so being forced to buy drinks I didn’t really want just felt like a bad value.
The service was fine, nothing terrible, but the whole night kind of felt centered around enforcing the drink rule instead of making sure people were having a good time. I know it’s common at comedy clubs, but I still walked out feeling like I paid more than the night was worth

"Easy to Get Around"
I had a really smooth experience here. The staff helped me out quickly, and getting to the entrance and finding my seat was easy. It made the whole visit feel simple and stress-free, which I appreciated a lot. I left feeling relieved and really grateful.

"So easy to get to"
This place was super easy to find. Nice. The subway was really close, and we ended up grabbing food nearby afterward. Easy. It made the whole night feel way less stressful

"Tough view from our seats"
I went to a weekend show, I think it was back in late March or maybe early April, and the comics were actually good. The problem was our table had a really rough view of the stage, so I kept having to lean around people just to see what was going on.
The staff seemed fine and everything, but the seating setup kind of ruined the night for me. I probably wouldn’t choose this spot again unless I knew exactly where we’d be sitting first.

"The show dragged on a bit too much"
There were definitely some funny moments, but the pacing felt super slow. It kind of dragged in places and made it hard to stay fully into it.

"Fun night, didn’t see that coming"
Went with a couple friends the other night and had a good time. The show was fun, and then at some point a surprise comic came out, which none of us were expecting, so that was a cool little moment. A few parts hit better than others, but that’s kind of how these things go. Overall it was a solid night and I’d probably go back.

"Pricier than similar nights out"
The show was decent, but the tickets ended up costing more than I expected once all the fees were added on. Compared to other events or a regular night out with friends, it felt a bit hard to justify the price.
